I often have the pleasure of sessions at Bahia Honda State Park.  It is such a beautiful place, I really feel lucky to live so close.  If you are visiting us in the Florida Keys, you should check it out.  The beaches are stunning, there are nature paths, a butterfly garden, kayak rentals, camping…ah I can go on and on.

We were so lucky, this was one of those days.  You know the kind, slight breeze, low 80’s, soft sun… oh the perfection.  And it wasn’t just the weather.  These two beautiful blue eyed darlings make being a Lower Keys Photographer so much fun!

While sneak peeks are fun, it is SO hard to pick the couple of images to post!

Through my playgroup (love you guys!), a couple of ladies have expressed interest in having Santa at the Beach photos.  If I have enough interest (4-6 families), I can set this up for next Sunday 12/13.

Last year I did a session like this for my family, and it was a lot of fun.  I dressed up my husband as Santa, complete with tropical shirt and shorts.  It would be your choice, daddy as Santa, or I can hire a Santa.  Please email me if you are interested, I would like to get this set up as soon as possible so you can have the images back before Christmas.

The session fee will be $50 with half of that applied to a print order instead of the usual $125.

What more can I say?  That sums it up.  We went out to Bahia Honda National Park (aka, the local beach) and the boys had a great time checking out the sand.

Is coming up

So I’ve been thinking long and hard about some awesome and creative place to take pictures of my children and family.  How will I take a picture with myself in it?  Easy peasy….AUNT JEN!!  Gotta love an Aunt Jen.  I’m going to set up the shots, and she’s going to take them.

I think we’ve settled on a place, Smather’s Beach in Key West!  I’m going to rent a Hobie Cat and we’re going to get some fun interaction images.  It’s not your traditional family pose, but it will definitely be a lot of fun!
