Key West Photography – Portraits of my Newborn
September 30, 2009Baby Silas was born August 28th! After 6 long weeks of bed rest, I was so excited to be able to see and hold the wee baby! Of course his siblings take every opportunity to sneak a hug in too.
As with all newborn sessions, I took his portraits within a few days, curly newborns are my favorite. I can’t believe it’s already been a little over a month since I delivered him. Your time with a newborn is really limited, they grow so fast! As I look at him nestled into his moses basket next to me, he already looks so different. We are enjoying each and every day, all the snuggles!
And for me, I’m slowly coming off of maternity leave. I will only be booking a couple of sessions a week through October.
I will be at the Key West Preschool Co-Op on Saturday for their Yard Sale fundraiser. If you’re in town, stop by and see me!
A Little Fun, Guess The Birthday!
August 4, 2009As many of you know, I have been on bed rest since mid-July (at 31 weeks). Now I’m at 35 weeks, and what a relief! What could be a better way to celebrate the delivery of my new baby than with a fun little contest here on my website?!
The rules are simple:
Post a comment to THIS blog post placing your guess.
You can only guess once.
AND the contest will be open until Next Friday *unless I deliver him before that anyways!*
Guess The Right Birthday and Choose:
Half off your session fee
or
2 free 8×10 gift prints
Want a helpful hint from me? My official due date is September 5th.

Freedom To Dance
July 4, 2009Something about this series really spoke to me. There is no greater feeling than that of an uninhibited three year old. I said to her… can you dance like a princess? And in response, she gave me a sly grin, and twirled. No hesitation. Of course she can dance like a princess.
I have more photos from this session to share…so check back
